I have a test on Tuesday, so obviously instead of putting in extra study time I make over 2000 screencaps :)

I've actually started some art for the first time in oh god, I hope it's not actually years a while. Since I've suddenly become incapable of actually writing coherently when I get home (I blame work), I'll just post a few pictures of the previously mentioned monstrosity:

I ran into this weird sidewalk art while walking down Bloor St. with Izy on Thursday. I was wishing I had a tripod the entire time I was trying to get a well lit shoot without blur.
...for who knows how long. All I seem to be doing is posting icons and photos without writing anything. Mostly this happens because I can't come up with a topic I'd like to write on, so instead of thinking something up myself I'm farming out this responsibility to my f-list.
So guys if you want me to write something suggest a subject. Is there something you want to know about me? Do you want an update on something in my life? Have you always wanted to know my opinion religion/politics or even my thoughts on yaoi? Post as many as you want.
I've disabled IP logging if you want to comment anonymously.
Also:
Larry Moran posted the following at his blog Sandwalk and I thought you guys might get a good laugh or a slightly disturbing mental image (like I did)

So, I wake up this morning and I'm feeling a bit off, but much better than yesterday. I take a Tylenol and a shower, and feel fucking fabulous. Sure my nose is still stuffier than the stacks at Robarts and I'm coughing up chunks of phlegm, but I'm not in any pain. I rejoice at the fact that I can feel like a human being again.
Now, if that was the end of my post my subject line would not be in any way justified, so what follows is an account of why my life sucks. After a great morning of feeling (almost) fine, I set off for class. I walked down the stairs and made it a whole 50 metres before I realized that I was miserably failing at the whole breathing thing and my throat felt like I was breathing gravel. This is not at all good since I have to walk all the way across campus to get to classes. I am extremely upset and it doesn't help that attempts at soothing throat with tea+lemon+honey result in pain a burning when it hit the pack of my throat :(
P.S. I really ought to stop reading wikipedia when I sick.

I hate out of the blue sickness. Yesterday I was completely fine and now I feel like a pine cone was shoved down my throat, twisted around, and then removed leaving my throat itchy and in pain.
I was going to write something else, but every time I come up with...oh, fuck I can't even finish that sentence. Fuck it all!

- Music:Bright Eyes - Endless Entertainment
This is probably the hardest in the last couple of days, which isn't saying much considering I've had nothing difficult to do in the past, but still...
Lets Not Shit Ourselves (To Love and To Be Loved) - Bright Eyes: I should really hate this song. It was the start of Conor Oberst's path to politically motivated songs that led to When the President Talks To God (which had all the eloquence of you average 15-year-old LJ user complaining about the US). It's also impossibly emo: Suicide attempt? Check. Defeatist attitude? Check. However, the fact that Conor Oberst may be a god with imagery and that he, for once, manages not to go over the top really saves this song. It's also wonderful to see how he manages to tell several different stories in one song and still relate it back to the story of the narrator.
The Legionnaire's Lament - The Decemberists: I'm a sucker for word play and and historical themes. This song is fun. There really isn't any other reason for why I like this song.
Ship of Fools - The Doors: I've always liked the "Ship of Fools" allegory. Not the way it's used in medieval Christianity, but the idea of relating the collective failures of humanity to a ship full of incompetents. This song does it well and it's The Doors, so it must be awesome.
Communist Daughter - Neutral Milk Hotel: I like this song because it still manages to fuck with my head. Is it using a communist island nation as a metaphor for a woman whose been sexually used and abused or the other way around? There's probably no definitive answer to this. It also comes from one of the best albums I have ever heard. I think everyone needs to have a listen to In the Aeroplane Over the Sea.
Pictures of Success - Rilo Kiley: This song is in this list because I can really identify with some of the lyrics. " Because I'm not scared, but I'd like some extra spare time", pretty much sums up my life.
Everyone has things they blog about. Everyone has things they don't blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I don't blog about, but you'd like to hear about, and I'll write a post about it. Ask for anything: latest movie watched, last book read, political leanings, thoughts on yaoi, favorite type of underwear, graphic techniques, etc. Repost in your own journal so that we can all learn more about each other.

The Four-By-Four Meme
Instructions: answer the following--and be honest!
One. Name four men and/or women that you're attracted to but don't usually mention (whether it's because you're embarrassed or they just don't come up).
Two. List four things you can't help but discriminate against. if you can't think of four... i don't believe you, but okay! =)
Three. Tell us four things you would die to have-- be it shoes, world peace, the latest issue of vogue.
Four. List four things you've tried (activities, food, etc.), hated, and why!
Lastly: tag four friends!

I promised
lienne that I'd upload pictures from this morning (day after epic snowfall), but since I'm missing the requisite cables to connect my camera to my computer I can't until tomorrow. So instead of doing that, I spent the day playing Cabal and organizing my music files on my computer. Which brings me to thins meme-thing I came up with.
Here's how it goes:
1. Comment to this post with a theme. The theme can be an object, a phrase, a feeling, a character, etc.
2. I'll make you a "mixtape" that's 5-15 songs long based on the theme and I'll upload to Sendspace or a similar site.
3. Post this to your journal along with a link to any mixtape I made for you

Done! Done! Done! As far as I'm concerned, my week is over today.
I've finished Monday's physiology midterm, Wednesday's Brain Day event, and today's poster presentation + lab writing assignment.
I'm mentally and physically exhausted, but I'm probably not going to bed for another 3 hours.
